Inviting athletes
The two ways to add athletes to your dashboard in ClimbrLab: sharing your coach code or sending an email invitation, and when to use each one.
The app interface is currently in Spanish only. Buttons and messages are quoted as you will see them, with the English meaning in brackets.
Invitaciones (Invitations) holds both routes plus the history of what you have sent.
Your coach code
A short code you share with whoever you want. The athlete pastes it while creating their account and you are linked.
This is the route to use when the athlete already has an account in ClimbrLab, and it is also the most convenient in person: read it out at the gym and you are done.
Two things worth knowing:
- The athlete can only enter the code during their onboarding questionnaire, not later from their profile.
- You get no notification when someone links with your code. They will appear in Mis atletas (My athletes), but you have to go and look.
Email invitation
You type the athlete’s email and they receive a message with your name and photo, plus a button to create their account. The link expires after 7 days.
Advantages of this route: the athlete skips the role choice and the step of searching for you, and arrives with everything already settled.
If the address already has an account, you will get this notice:
Ese email ya tiene una cuenta en ClimbingLab. Comparte tu código de entrenador para vincularlo.
(That email already has a ClimbingLab account. Share your coach code to link it.)
It is not a mistake on your part: it means that athlete signed up on their own and you need to go the code route.
If you invite the same address again, the previous invitation is replaced with a fresh link and another 7 days.
The history
The Invitaciones enviadas (Invitations sent) table shows the address, the date and the status:

It is read-only: you cannot resend or cancel from the table. To resend, type the address into the invitation card again.
Before you invite anyone: today’s limits
Worth knowing so you do not promise what the app does not do:
- You cannot unlink an athlete or move them to another coach from the app. If you need to move someone, write to us.
- The athlete must pick a coach to be able to finish their questionnaire. There is no option to sign up and find you later.
