Calendar, messages and physio report

How to use the calendar with or without Google, message your athletes in the app, and generate a link for a physiotherapist to report injuries to you.

The app interface is currently in Spanish only. Buttons and messages are quoted as you will see them, with the English meaning in brackets.

Calendar

It works with or without Google. You can create local events from day one, and if you connect your Google Calendar, choose where each one goes.

Local event types: training, assessment, meeting, personal, task and other.

Creating an event, there is a Crear en Google Calendar (Create in Google Calendar) switch. Turn it on and options that only exist there open up:

  • Event colour, using Google’s palette
  • In person or online
  • Add a Google Meet link

An event cannot be moved between local and Google after creation: the destination is decided when you create it and stays fixed. If you get it wrong, delete it and create it again.

Careful when deleting Google events: guests receive the cancellation notification, exactly as if you had deleted it from Google Calendar.

Messages

A direct conversation with each athlete, in real time. Beyond text you can send images, videos and attach an exercise from your library, which arrives as a card they can open.

Chat videos are capped at 100 MB, lower than the exercise limit, and the app tells you if you go over.

Chat media goes to private storage, not public: it is served with temporary links that expire, so it does not stay accessible to anyone holding the URL.

Physiotherapist report

This solves one specific problem: letting your athlete’s physio tell you what they can and cannot do, without having to create an account.

On the athlete’s injuries tab, press Generar enlace (Generate link). You get a URL to copy and send to the physio. It expires after 30 days and you can revoke it at any time.

The physio opens the link and sees a form with your athlete’s name and body and hand diagrams. They mark the affected area with a click and fill in four fields, all required:

  • Their name
  • The area or muscle
  • The severity
  • The instructions for you: loads, exercises to avoid, timeframes

On submission, the injury appears on the athlete’s record flagged as reported by the physio, and you get a notification. It stays clear where each instruction came from, which is exactly what you want when you have to justify why you changed the plan.

Exporting your data

Ajustes → Datos (Settings → Data) has Exportar datos de alumnos (Excel) (Export athlete data). It generates an .xlsx with twelve sheets: athletes, injuries, notes, sessions, session entries, metrics, metric entries, assignments, plans, plan detail and routes, plus an index.

It is your copy: use it if you want to analyse something yourself in a spreadsheet, or simply to keep the history on your own machine.
