Create your account
How to sign up for ClimbrLab, which passwords are accepted, how to verify your email address and what to do if the verification link has expired.
The ClimbrLab app interface is currently in Spanish only. Throughout this guide, buttons and on-screen messages are quoted as you will actually see them, with the English meaning in brackets.
Signing up with email and password
On Crear cuenta (Create account) we ask for four things: full name, email, password and password confirmation.
Below the password field you will see four rules that tick off as you type:
- Between 6 and 50 characters
- One uppercase letter
- One lowercase letter
- One number or symbol
The Registrarme (Sign me up) button stays disabled until all four are met.
Signing in with Google
You can also create your account with Google, but the button lives on the sign-in screen, not the sign-up one. If you prefer that route, go to Iniciar sesión (Sign in) and press Continue with Google.
It has one advantage: the account is verified immediately and you skip the next step.
Verifying your email
If you sign up with email and password, we send you a message with the subject «Verifica tu email · ClimbingLab» and a Verificar mi email (Verify my email) button.
The link expires after 24 hours.
Until you verify, you can sign in, but the app will always return you to the “Revisa tu correo para continuar” (Check your email to continue) screen. You will not reach your dashboard.
If you cannot find the email, check spam or promotions. Corporate filtering rules are the ones most likely to hide it.
If the link has expired
To be straight about it: the app cannot resend the verification email yet. If your link expired, write to us and we will activate the account by hand.
It is a known limitation and it is on the fix list.
What comes next
Once verified, the first time you sign in we ask how you intend to use the app, followed by a short questionnaire to set up your dashboard. That is covered in Choosing your role and completing your profile.
